- Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora - Neale Richmond, overseeing diaspora affairs, is developing next diaspora strategy
- Interesting read about recent visit to America by Neale Richmond to develop this diaspora strategy, could be some inspiration
- In order to understand the issues affecting both long-standing emigrants and newer arrivals and to ensure the new strategy meets the needs of global Irish communities, Minister Richmond is undertaking a series of in-person engagements with diaspora communities across the world.
- To date, he has met with representatives of the Irish community in Nairobi, Brussels, Boston, Philadelphia, Manchester, Glasgow and London (7 July)

- Crosscare Irish Diaspora Support Project - A specialized service that provides information to Irish citizens leaving or returning to Ireland – main diaspora hub in Ireland
- Emigrant Support Program - support for vulnerable and underrepresented Irish abroad, nurturing Ireland’s cultural heritage abroad among the diasporas, provides grants for organizations, Irish community networks and projects etc
- Link to Irish community networks across the globe that have received ESP funding

- Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers - connects 10 regional centers across US
- African American Irish Diaspora Network (AAIDN) - connects African Americans with Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the global Irish diaspora

- Slovak Shamrocks GAA - voluntary organisation promoting Gaelic football and handball – around 350 Irish living in Slovakia

- Slovak Centre Ireland - Centre aims to unite, provide services, and represent the interests of the Slovak community in Ireland and improve the social opinion of Slovakia
