Slovak artist paused her work to tell the stories of Ukrainian refugees; now she wants America to see them.

Jana Rajcová’s exhibition will open at the Iowa museum in late September. Having presented “Exodus.Report” to audiences in Bratislava, Slovakia’s capital, Rajcová’s perspective on Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia is now coming to the National Czech and Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Opening on September 19, “Exodus.Report” will be the first solo US showing for the photographer, and she will be visiting the Midwest for the event.
