There will be no Slovak designated speaker, this is going to be a discussion around a roundtable among the angel investors and Slovak diaspora in London.

8:35 – 8:50 NETWORKING ACTIVITY
Activity to make participants get to know each other - each participant has to say:
● their name and
● their profession/job/fi eld of expertise
● what they are looking for
● how they can help to connect members of Slovak diaspora
in a funny, engaging way.
8:50 – 9:00 Presentation of LUMUS Lumus Diaspora project
Community and diaspora focus:
● presentation of LUMUS and its benefi ts for Slovak diaspore in Slovakia and abroad
● how thanks to LUMUS community we can help each other
● introducing new LUMUS community members
● real-life examples: thanks to LUMUS, we achieved something we wouldn't had achieved on our own (collective investments, new career opportunities, connections of Slovak diaspora with Slovak entrepreneurs, etc.)
● why is it important to build networks between the new Slovak diaspora abroad and innovative start-ups in Slovakia
● how do we plan to create an environment for exchanging know-how, investments and career opportunities between the Slovak diaspora and innovative start-ups
● presentation of new members in Diaspora
● currently open opportunities (careers, investments) available to Diaspora thanks to LUMUS
9:00 – 9:45 Moderated discussion (Lucia Cerchlan)
All the attendees will be informally sharing their personal stories of being investors (and maybe also entrepreneurs) and how the network and meaningful connection helped them succeed.
9:45 - 9:50 Engagement activity for all the attendees
Fireside questions where both the audience and the speakers raise their hands or move around the room to answer this “dilemma” questions:
● would I live in Slovakia or abroad?
● would you start a business again?
● would you ask for help less or more?
● would you connect with others less or more?
● etc.
9:50 – 10:30 Informal networking
to foster connections and help each other
