EU Open House 2026 & Dr. Michaela Musilová

Popis udalosti/akcie/projektu:

We’re continuing our series introducing highlights from the #EUOpenHouse program ✨

And this time, we’re heading… to space 🪐 As the Artemis missions bring renewed excitement about returning humans to the Moon, we’re also reminded of Eugene Cernan, a U.S. astronaut with Slovak roots 🇸🇰 and the last man to have walked on the lunar surface.

Today, #Slovakia is represented in space-related research by experts including Dr. Michaela Musilova — astrobiologist, explorer, author, and commander of more than 30 simulated missions to the Moon and Mars, with experience at institutions such as NASA, ESA, and Caltech.

Curious about life on Mars? Or what it really takes to prepare for missions beyond Earth? Come by for a meet & greet and join the conversation.

📅 May 9, 2026 | 12:00 – 2:00 PM (Meet & Greet)

📍 Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Washington, D.C.

🎟️ Free admission | No RSVP needed

More program highlights coming soon, stay tuned!
