Czech & Slovak Festival

Popis udalosti/akcie/projektu:

The 35th Czech and Slovak Festival will open its doors at noon on Sunday, October 29, 2023 for all friends of Czechia and Slovakia.

This fantastic indoor event will be held in the spacious Legacy Hall in Sykesville, MD with plenty of free parking.

We are proud to offer you traditional Czech and Slovak meals, beer, etc. Traditional sweets and treats from returning and new vendors will be available for purchase: Slovak-Czech Varieties, Koláče-poppy seed rolls, Beads By Rasa, Hornaks Honey, Praha Beads and Jewelry, Product Energy & Cookies, OM Design & Photography, Ukrainian designer goods, Sherriq Boutique, Krysias Polish Food and more.

Tickets will be sold at the entrance to the festival hall. No pre-sale required.

Everyone will be able to enjoy the music of the Slovak folk band Pajtasi, performances by local Sokol groups, dance and fellowship. We look forward to seeing you there.

1:30PM - OPENING - National Flags Ceremony, National Anthems, Messages

2:00PM - DANCE LESSON - Dance Teachers and Pajtaši

2:45PM - PERFORMANCE - Baltimore Sokol

3:30PM - RAFFLE DRAWING - Good Luck!

4:30PM - PERFORMANCE - American Sokol Washington

6:00PM - DOOR CLOSES
