Dear friends,
We would like to invite you for another Slovak PRO discussion & networking event – this time about Košice, the capital of the Slovak East. Košice is Slovakia's fastest developing city and its leader in the cultural and creative industry. We will meet and chat with Michal Hladký, director of Creative Industry Košice (CIKE), a non-profit organization that was established after Košice successfully held the title of European Capital of Culture (ECoC) in 2013. CIKE continues to develop Košice's creative and business potential. Michal is the author of Košice's candidacy project for ECoC and one of the masterminds of its current culture-focused development.
Michal will present and speak about Košice 2.0 – a strategy to redesign the city around its cultural and technological potential and that seeks to make Košice one of the European creative hubs and hotspots in Europe.
If you have a connection to the city or to eastern Slovakia, or if you are just curious about how Košice became a leading example of modern transformation and development, please join us on March 16 at 6:30PM. As always, you will be able to network with your fellow Slovak professionals over some wine and refreshments.
